ans0-1.
PROCEDURE -
OPEN tekla designer software previous file >
open a file in ms excel for calculation of dead load and live load .
-load tab >load cases from ribbon tab
-load cases we define self weight with and without slab load , dead ,live seismic and wind load .
-click add to dead load after self weight similary add on live load etc. click on ok .
select load combition on loading window .select generate .
set initial parameter under combition genation genarator .> next
click next
finish
dead load of slab is automatically designed by help of software .and apply on beam .
floor finish is 50mm thick which provided both ground floor and first floor .
there fore , finish load =thickness of floor finish x density of concerete .
=.05 x 24 =1.2 n/m2
brickwall thickness =150 mm
unit wt. of brick according to IS CODE 875 [P-1] 15.7 TO 24.5 KN/M2
Overe here unit wt. of brick taken =20kn/m2
BRICK WALL LOADING =UNIT WEIGHT OF BRICK XBRICKWALL THICKNESS XFLOOR HEIGHT
Brick loading for ground floor =20x.15x 5.2=15.6kn/m
similary for frist floor loading =20x .15 x6.8 =20.4 kn/m
--------------
in ground floor ,select dead load from load cases .
LOAD TAB>AREA LOAD
PROPERTY . LOADING INTENSITY 1.2 KN/M2 FOR FLOOR FINISH
PICK EACH AREA >WHERE AREA LOADING APPLY .
1ST floor> apply floor finish load > load cases > dead load
area loa > 1.2 kn/m2
top of beam level floor> apply floor finish load > load cases > dead load
area loa > 1.2 kn/m2
full brick wall load ,apply load outer wall of ground floor
-full udl >load type >me,mber load > load intensity 15.6 kn/m
stair case brick wall ia applied at 3m . from
grid line 1 .so pick a full udl at an intensity
of 15.6 kn/m
-ground floor plan to apply brick wall
load grid line 1 .and 2 .and also b/w C AND D >LOAD INTENSITY 15.6 KN /M
ROOF LOADING -
TUrn off slab items ,wall panel for better view .
loadcases > dead load .> area load > 1.3 kn/m2[ceiling load +purling load ][.3 +1]
ans-
1st study of room ,kitchen ,staircase ,floor plan .
next input live load values as per is 875 [2] 1987
-equipment load=5 kn/m2
-ground floor >.imposed load >area load >for staircase value 5 kn/m2
-continue with same loading > office area live load 3 kn/m2
>existancecorridoor 5 kn./m2,
toilet 2kn/ .m2 in property window .
canteen and coffe area 3 kn /m2
similary 1st floor > provide imposed load in loading panel > area load . 5 kn/m
-live load on roof
loading panel >imposed load > area load > load intewnsity 0.75 kn /m 2
3.Generate manual wind loading in the design report based IS code as per the following input
