Aim
Cleaning and Mesh the Mesh model to define the correct property ID.
Introduction
Hood is a covering part of the engine compartment which is also known as the bonnet.
Hood is designed based upon the considerations of:-
Problem
After clearing all the topological error present on the model manually and then check for the geometry check and some errors like unchecked faces, needle faces are observed and these are cleared by automatic fix option.
It is the technology used in the automotive industry to join inner and outer closure panels together (hoods, doors and rear closures). It is the process of bending/folding the flange of the outer panel over the inner one. The accuracy of this operation significantly affects the appearance of the router surface and therefore a critical factor in the final quality of a finished vehicle. Material deformation which occurs during the hemming process can lead to dimensional variation and other defects in the parts. The hemming defects are splits or wrinkles in the flange, Material overlap in the corner areas or material roll in. This is why it is important to use the simulation tool on one hand and better understanding the hemming process on the other hand which significantly reduces the number of trial and error loops during tryout under production.
To perform hemming first need to do is to project the outer periphery of the outer panel to inner panel and again on the base surface of the outer panel by using project option under faces and then selected the coons and then middle-click after that selected the faces on which the coons need to be projected.

Project 1 : Flow over Ahmed Body
Flow over Ahmed's Body The Ahmed body represents a simplified, ground vehicle geometry of a bluff body type. Its shape is simple enough to allow for accurate flow simulation but retains some important practical features relevant to automobile bodies. This model describes how to calculate the turbulent flow field around…
